Terms and Conditions for Purchase :
In these terms and conditions, the "Company" will mean Max Scene International Limited and Maxscene Wineshop and the "Custome/Buyerr" will mean any person, firm, company or body which places an order with the Company. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. By using the site or any part of it, you agree that you have read these terms and conditions and that you accept and agree to be bound by them.

It is illegal to sell alcohol to people under the age of 18. By placing an order, the Customer confirms that he/she is 18 years old or above.

The Company shall make every effort to ensure that prices, details and sizes of products on this website are up to date. Prices are subject to change without prior notice and all orders are subject to Company's acceptance at its sole discretion and stock availability. If from time to time products become out of stock, the Company reserves the right to offer alternative substitute products to the Customer of similar value and style.

Your order placed is an offer to buy from us. There will be no contract of any kind between you and Max Scene International Ltd. Until the order is accepted, confirmed and goods are dispatched to you. The Company reserve the right to decline any order without any reason at anytime before delivery of goods.

Registration
You are required to register before placing any order through this website. The Company has the absolute discretion to refuse registration of a potential customer and to terminate the registration of any customer for any reason whatsoever.

You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering an order so that we can communicate with you effectively.

Breakage
The Customer is requested to examine the goods immediately upon delivery for any deficiencies and/or damages. Claims (if any) must be lodged at the time of delivery, otherwise any breakage shall be deemed to have occurred thereafter.

Refund Policy

It is the receiver's responsibility to check the condition of any goods received including glassware and accessories, at the time of delivery.

If any product proves to have been delivered in a damaged condition, or if the product proves to be wrong item to deliver, or if a product which was ordered and invoiced is not included in the delivery, the Company shall either refund to the Customer the value of that product, or replace the product.

Product photos & details on this website are for reference only. Customer shall not be entitled to return a product simply because it does not correspond exactly to its online details. The Company will do our best to ensure accuracy of information on this site.

Returns only accepted with valid receipt and no returns will be accepted on wine or champagne over HK$750 (per bottle) or more than 10 years old.

No returns accepted on glassware or accessories after the goods have been accepted by the receiver.

Goods return on eligible items accepted if returned within 3 days of delivery and please call our customer service hotline +852 2856 0308 for refund.

Title of Goods
Title to all goods supplied shall remain with Company until all sums due are paid in full. Company has the right to retrieve any sold goods if full payment is not received. The Company reserves all rights for claiming any loss and damages as a result of failure to pay by the Customer.

Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure in its performance caused by or resulting from acts of God, fire, flood, accident, riot, war, government intervention, embargoes, strikes, labour difficulties, equipment failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Company.

Payment Terms:

All product prices listed are in HK dollars.

Payment by VISA, MasterCard and American Express are made with PayPal network system.

Your offer to purchase made on www.maxscene-wineshop.com may not be accepted subject to the availability of stock. A final and conclusive invoice will be presented to you upon delivery.

Max Scene Wineshop reserves the right to limit sales including the right to decline sales to any customers.

Max Scene Wineshop reserves the right to change the payment terms for any order without prior notice.

All risks in the products shall pass to the Customer upon delivery but Maxscene International Limited shall retain title in the products until full payment has been received.

Delivery :

We offer FREE delivery (single location only) for purchases over HK$1,200. For orders under this amount, a delivery charge of HK$100 applies.

Delivery to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories areas (except outlying islands, Park Island, Discovery Bay) can be arranged within three working days while goods are in stock, unless otherwise specified.

Additional fee of HKD200 will be charged for delivery orders to Tung Chung and Chek Lap Kok.

Delivery service is limited to Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories, and is not available to outlying islands, restricted areas or hotel's guest room.

Delivery service is available from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (excluding the public holidays).

Delivery service might not be available if there is no authorised or legitimate unloading area within reasonable distance from the delivery address or if lift service is not available.

Delivery service will be suspended when typhoon signal No.8 or above or a black rain warning is hoisted. In this event customers will be contacted to re-schedule delivery time.

We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee if the recipient is not available to accept delivery at the nominated the delivery time.

It is the responsibility of the customer to notify the Company immediately of any change to their delivery address.

We reserve the right to decline delivery of goods to any customer at our sole discretion absolutely.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the People's Republic of China and the Customer and Max Scene International Ltd. agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. Max Scene International Ltd. may revise these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. If any dispute arises, Max Scene International Ltd.'s determination shall be final. Where these terms and conditions are available in Chinese, the English version is the governing version and shall prevail whenever there is a discrepancy between the two versions.
